WELCOME TO KSET: BHAWANIPATNA

Kalahandi School of Engineering & Technology (KSET) , under the patronage of Sri Baidyanath memorial Trust, is first of its kind in undivided Kalahandi district Situated at Bhawanipatna, orissa. Mission of the institute to provide quality Technical education in a peaceful and conductive atmosphere to meet the industry oriented needs for skilled technical managerial man power. The institution, Kalahandi School of Engineering & Technology came into existence during the session 2008-2009 under the Patronage of Sri Baidyanath Memorial Trust, Bhawanipatna, kalahandi. The idea behind setting up a technical school was based on the conviction that in this remote rural pocket of the state, no other technical institute existed to cater to the needs of young men and women having an eye for pursuing a professional diploma course. It is with this vision, the authorities embarked upon opening this institution with a modest intake of 60 (sixty) students in five disciplines like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Tele-communication, Civil and Computer Science. It has registered an upward trend of admitting more and more with passage of time.

Even ITI pass-outs join it through Lateral Entry. Student from many parts of the state and even the adjacent Chhatisgarh state throng the institution for admission into it in spite of the emergence of up & coming neighboring institutions. The independent building with a vast campus earmarked for future expansion adds to its commanding position. Qualified staff, well equipped laboratories, well-stacked library, all account for its eminence. The intake of the students is drawn from the Joint Entrance Test conducted at the state level. We are given the opportunity of conducting internal and semester examinations as per the stipulation of SCTE & VT., Orissa. We have a vision, depending on our infrastructure and resources, to develop this fledgling institution to an Engineering school at the earliest opportunity.
